President to meet Swiss, South African Presidents


It is reported that the President Maithripala Sirisena who is in New York to participate at the 70th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will call on Switzerland President Didler Burkhalter, and South African President Jacob Zuma.

The President is to hold bilateral discussions with them on the sidelines of the UNGA in New York. He is also scheduled to have discussions with International Red Cross President Peter Maurr and the officials of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) today (25).

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera is expected to meet his counterparts from New Zealand and Pakistan today.
