Indian Government to study Lanka resolution by TN


India’s Union Minister of State for Shipping, Pon Radhakrishnan, said the Indian Government would analyse the contents of the resolution passed by the Tamil Nadu Assembly on the Sri Lankan issue and will take an informed decision, The Hindu reported.rn

The Assembly on Wednesday had urged the Centre to move a strong resolution in the United Nations (UN) for an international probe into alleged war crimes during the final stages of the war.


Speaking to reporters in India, Radhakrishnan said the BJP led Government was firm that anyone who has done wrong should be punished.
