Disclosure of another racket of intoxicating students


A pharmacy that had sold a drug usually administered to neuro patients  for intoxicating schoolchildren was  raided at the Maggona town in Kalutara.

A police officer who participated in the raid told our news team that more than 200 capsules of the relevant drug were recovered from the pharmacy.  

Pharmacy owners had sold a capsule of this drug at a rate between rupees 50 and 60 to schoolchildren.

Reports say that the pharmacy owner and another person had been arrested.
