The New Fast & Furious Blockbuster Has Raced Past The $500 Million Mark At The Global Box Office In Less Than A Week.

Furious 7 reached the milestone some time on Wednesday and now it's poised to overtake Fifty Shades of Grey as the year's top-grossing film.

The adaptation of E.L. James' erotic thriller has so far made $566 million globally.

Furious 7 debuted with a record-breaking $147 million opening weekend in America over Easter and it is expected to stay at the top of the U.S. box office this coming weekend with an estimated $60 million haul.
