Health Minister Rajitha Senarathna is scheduled to appear before the Presidential Commission for Inquiring into fraud and corruption during 2015 to 2018.
That will be in connection with the complaint GMOA Secretary Dr. Haritha Aluthgey had lodged alleging that State funds were being spent without acquiring the Malabe Neville Fernando Hospital properly.
Meanwhile, Power and Energy Ministry Secretary Suren Batagoda appeared before the commission yesterday.
That was in reference to the complaint regarding fraud and corruption that had taken place when procuring fuel for the Electricity Board electricity grid and power plants.
However, although the secretary appeared before the commission for giving evidence, he was asked to appear before the commission today since yesterday he had not come prepared to submit the required documents.
On this occasion Justice at the chair severely warned the secretary to appear before the commission equipped with all documents without any lapse.
