Vote on no confidence motion against the government today

Today is the second day of the debate on the no-confidence motion against the government moved by the JVP.

Voting is scheduled to take place in the afternoon after the debate.

While the JVP put forward the no-confidence motion in parliament yesterday, the debate commenced subsequently.

Meanwhile, TELO Jaffna branch requests the TNA to abstain from voting in favour of the government at the voting scheduled to be taken today on the  no-confidence motion brought forward against the government.

TNA national organizer former provincial  councilor, M. K. Sivaajilingam made this request while participating at a media briefing held in Jaffna yesterday.

Meanwhile the TNA is scheduled to meet again today for discussing about the no-confidence motion.

Although the TNA  met day-before-yesterday and yesterday no consensus was reached.
