Vehicle believed to have been used by Madumadhawa during the tense situation which erupted in Minuwangoda found

A Montero jeep has been discovered which is suspected to have been used by the deputy leader of the Pivituru Hela Urumaya, Madu madawa Aravinda during the tense situation that erupted in Gampaha- Minuwangoda recently.
The police media spokespersons office noted that the jeep was found hidden in a house in Kirillawela- Webada area which was discovered by the officers of the Peliyagoda crimes investigation division yesterday.
It has been revealed that the owner of the jeep is the respective owner of the house and he has fled the area.
Even though, Madumadawa Aravinda was informed yesterday to appear before the Minuwangoda police to provide a statement in relation to the incident which took place in Minuwangoda, he had failed to do so.
He noted that he had visited the police last Thursday, and the police was unprepared to obtain his statement.
He was summoned to the police last Sunday, and last Monday as well, but as he failed to appear and he was yet again reminded to appear before the police by 10 am yesterday.
It has been revealed that the deputy leader of the pivituru hela urumaya, Madumadawa Aravinda was in the area when the tense situation in Minuwangoda erupted on the night of 13th May.
This was following investigations into his mobile phone records and CCTV footage in the area.
