There was nothing Rashid Khan couldn't have done on Thursday (September 20) - which also happened to be his 20th birthday. Turning the tables in the first innings with his valiant unbeaten knock of 57 en route a 95-run stand with Gulbadin Naib, he picked up two wickets in the second to help Afghanistan pick up a comprehensive 136-run win over Bangladesh, who were bowled out for just 119 in 42.1 overs, the fourth-largest for them in terms of runs. He was, expectedly, named Man of the Match.

After dominating proceedings for almost 40 overs, Bangladesh were forced to concede their position of strength as Rashid Khan (57*) and Gulbadin Naib (42*) took Afghanistan to 255 for 7, with as many as 97 runs being scored in the final 10 overs at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, with an unbeaten 95-run stand, which came off just 56 balls.
