Cricket South Africa says that South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir was racially abused by a spectator during victory over India in the 4th ODI in Johannesburg.

Tahir, 38, reported the alleged incident to stadium security, who accompanied him to identify the spectator at the Wanderers on Saturday.

CSA said it is investigating in a statement on Monday.

According to the International Cricket Council anti-racism code, spectators who engage in racist conduct may be ejected from the stadium and can face further bans and criminal prosecution.
