Sri Lanka through to tri-nation final


Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the final league match of the tri-nation series at Dhaka today (Jan. 25).
Chasing 83 to win, the Sri Lankan openers, Upul Tharanga and Dhanushka Gunathilaka reached the target off just 11.5 overs.
Tharanga made 33 runs off 34 balls with 3 sixes while Gunathilaka who was added to the team replacing Kusal Janith made 40 off 36 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
Earlier, Sri Lanka bowlers restricted Bangladesh for 82 runs after they opted to bat first winning the toss.
Only 2 batsmen from the home side were able to reach double figures.
Mushfiqur Rahim top-scored with 26.
In bowling, Suranga Lakmal was the pick of the Lankan bowlers with 3 for 21 while Dushmantha Chameera, Thisara Perera and Lakshan Sandakan bagged 2 wickets each.
The final of the series will be played on 27th at Dhaka.
