Sajith assurers to dedicate himself for Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasingha at a Presidential election.

UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa says that if UNP national leader Ranil Wickremesinghe contests at the next Presidential election, he would work for his victory with dedication.
A 21member committee was also appointed at the working committee meeting held yesterday for carrying out UNP electioneering activities with regard to a presidential election.
The first working committee meeting the UNP held after the Uva provincial council election was held at the Sirikoth party headquarters yesterday with UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe at the chair.
At this meeting MP Sajith Premadasa was appointed UNP deputy leader.
MP Ravi Karunanayake was appointed as party assistant leader.
MPs Iran Wickremaratna, Ranjith Maddumabandara, Akila Viraaj Kaariyawasam were elected Treasurer, Senior Vice Chairman and Deputy General Secretary respectively.
In addition, while MP Thalathaa Atukoraala was appointed electioneering secretary, the UNP working committee decided yesterday to offer the national youth front chairmanship to Uva chief ministerial candidate Harin Fernando.
However while Harin Fernando did not accept the post, he requested for a week to make a decision.
Therefore, this post will still remain vacant.
Meanwhile MP Joseph Michael Perera handed over his letter of resignation from the post of UNP Assistant Leader to party leader Ranil Wickremasinghe yesterday.
