Delegation arrives in SL for Maldives-Lanka Joint Commission meeting


A Maldivian high level government delegation has departed to Sri Lanka to attend a Maldives-Sri Lanka Joint Commission meeting, foreign media reports.
The delegation included Maldivian Foreign Minister Dhunya Maumoon, Fisheries and Agriculture Minister Mohamed Shiny, Education Minister Aishath Shiham, as well as senior officials from various government ministries.
The meeting is to be presided over by Maldivian Foreign Minister Dhunya Maumoon and Sri Lankan Foreign Minister G. L. Peiris.
Maldives-Sri Lanka Joint Commission was established in 1994 to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.
