Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Chinese tour begins today


Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has left for china today.  

The former president will be there till December 1st

He will meet the China’s Government heads on 28th November.

During his tour the Former President will also participate in several special programmes with China’s Guanshu regional government heads and Shenshing Urban heads.

In addition the former president will also visit the Dafo Temple, the Free Trade Zones and Sheshin cities.  

Meanwhile former president Rajapaksa said that he was opposed to selling of land to Chinese investors on a large scale.

The former president said so while participating at a meeting with newspaper editors in Colombo yesterday.
