Felon, 67, who has 17 aliases is arrested

A 67-year-old man with 17 aliases was charged in a federal criminal complaint involving an alleged sex trafficking operation with two teen girls and three women in Detroit.

Richard Knider Jackson appeared in federal court on Friday where he was charged with human trafficking as prosecutors claim he forced a 31-year-old and two 21-year-old women along with two teens -- ages 15 and 16 -- into prostitution by advertising sexual services with their photos on Backpage.com, the Detroit Free Press reported.

Authorities said Jackson, who has a lengthy criminal history as a convicted felon, would recruit women and teenage girls to his home on South Electric Street in the city to get them hooked on drugs, including heroin.
