Trump hopes Clinton email 'motherlode' found; chairwoman of DNC, resigns ahead of email scandal

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said he believes the FBI may have found the "motherlode" of Hillary Clinton's emails.

At a rally in Michigan, he said he hoped the Democratic candidate's 33,000 deleted messages could now be recovered.

Clinton later told a rally she had nothing to hide.

Meanwhile, the acting chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile, resigned from her role as a CNN contributor earlier this month.

Her departure was announced yesterday, amid fresh revelations that she sent questions to Hillary Clinton's campaign in advance of a CNN debate and a CNN-TV One town hall.

Donald Trump giving his reaction to the FBI's actions, expressed these views.
