
Sambanthan blames Sri Lankan government in Tamil Nadu

TNA Leader R. Sampandan said yesterday in Chennai that the Sri Lankan government has no sincere need to implement the 13th Amendment.
He told Indian media that the government disrupts the functions of the Northern Provincial Council as well.
He further said the under the present situation, even the northern provincial council chief minister cannot take any action against the provincial secretary.
MP Sampandan added that the government has not yet agreed to activate the chief minister’s fund which has authority to receive foreign aid.
He made a grave allegation against the government in Chennai that the Sri Lankan government is attempting to change the population density of the North.
At the same time MP Sampandan told the media that Indian Premier Narendra Modi informed him about India’s commitment to find a lasting solution to fulfill the aspirations of Tamils under a unitary Sri Lanka.
