Lankan women stand against catcalling

#StreetHaressmentHurts is a campaign launched against the catcalling trend which prevails in Sri Lanka via social media platforms in different formats. the campaign kicked off with the recent incident which took place in Wariyapola also known as the "Wariyapola Kumarihami".

This incident provoked all the women to stand against catcalling and the injustice they face while walking on the streets.

This stands against Street Harassment of men,women and children!as they are tired of being told to ignore.they strive to make the streets safe for everyone.

the page which was basically created on the 23rd of august has almost reached more than 2000 likes. Women who have faced catcalling and abusive acts in the streets, bus, public places share their thought with the Hashtag #StreetHaressmentHurts.
