
Vedda Chief complains of outside settlers

The Vedda tribe is affected by outsiders settling in their land after purchasing them, chieftain of the clan Uruwarigelage Vanniyala Ettho says.
At a press conference the chief said that the outsiders are involved in anti-social activities such as selling of liquor.
In answer to the claims the District Secretariat of Badulla said he is looking into the matter.
