Pakistan won the first ODI played at the Sooriyawewa stadium in Hambantota, yesterday
Pakistan nervously chased a modest 275-run target with Sohaib Maqsood hitting an unbeaten 89 as Pakistan won in 44.5 overs.
Sri Lankan skipper Angelo Mathews took 2-48. Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and elected to bowl under overcast conditions in Saturday’s opening game of the three-match one-day.
Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 2nd ODI will be played at Sooriyawewa stadium in Hambantota on 26 August.
