NYC Google manager killed on jog in Massachusetts

A New York City woman was killed — and possibly set on fire after a sexual assault — while jogging in Massachusetts less than a week after a runner was murdered in Queens, according to reports Monday.

Vanessa Marcotte, a pretty, 27-year-old Google account manager, was visiting her mom in Princeton, Massachusetts, on Sunday, when she left for a workout around 1 p.m. and never came back, ABC News reported.

Her body was found in woods about half a mile from her mother’s home at 8:20 p.m. that night, police told the station.

Investigators are probing the possibility that Marcotte was sexually assaulted and set on fire, a source told FOX25.
