Finding Dory beats Jason Bourne at UK box office


Finding Dory has topped the box office in the UK and Ireland, after taking 8.1 million pounds on its opening weekend.

The animated children's film, which features the voice of Ellen DeGeneres, was released on Friday - 13 years after its predecessor, Finding Nemo.

Jason Bourne - the fifth film in the Bourne series - debuted at number two with earnings of 7.6 million pounds.

The BFG, dropped to number three with 3.4 million pounds, and Star Trek Beyond took 4th place with 2.3 million.
