England beat Sri Lanka by 10 wickets in the second one-day international yesterday to lead the five-game series 1-0.
Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 254 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, in their allotted 50 overs.
Upul Tharanga was the highest scorer for the Lankans with an average of 53 not out, while Dinesh Chandimal scored 52 as England bowler Adil Rashid took 2 wickets for 34.
English batsmen demonstrated a brilliant performance with the bat, with an excellent 256 for no loss in just 34.1 overs.
Alex Hales in 110 deliveries was on 133 not out, and Jason Roy in just 95 balls, was on 112 not out, which enabled him to become the Player of the Match.
