
Joint Opposition ventures of their 6th coconut dashing ritual

The Joint Opposition (JO) is due to seek divine intervention by dashing coconuts for the 6th time today in protest of government activities.
The ritual is to be conducted at the Suniyam Devalaya in Kuliyapitiya.
It is reported that several MPs representing the JO are gathering at the premises of the Suniyam Devalaya.
The party conducted the ritual of dashing coconuts on several occasions before.
The ritual was conducted at Seenigama Devalaya in Hikkaduwa, Historical Ammaduwa Kuda-katharagama Devalaya in Godakawela- Ratnapura, Aiyanayake Devalaya in Singakkuliya, Lunawa Devalaya in Moratuwa as well as KaliMani Devalaya in Muttuval.
