Min. Ravi Karunanayaka Leaves for India for IMF Conference


A three-day conference on 'Advancing Asia: Investing for the Future', hosted by the government of India and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) started today in Indian capital- New Delhi.

Minister of Finance, Ravi karunanayake represents Sri Lanka at the conference.

The conference is attended by over 400 delegation including relevant ministers, central bank governors, prominent businessmen and economic specialists in Asia Pacific region.

Indian media report that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the keynote address in the opening session while IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde would also be a keynote speaker.
