
Sri Lanka steady after Pakistan post 451

Spinner Dilruwan Perera claimed his third five-wicket haul on August 7, as Pakistan were bowled out for a first innings score of 451 runs on Day 2 of the first Test against Sri Lanka.
The game was worked off at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan picked up from where they left on Day 1 with an overnight score of 261 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Asad Safiq was the first to fall for 75 runs. Younis Khan was then sent back to the pavilion for 177 runs. Sarfraz Ahmed hammered a knock of 55 before being dismissed by Dilruwan Perera. Pakistan were eventually bowled out for 451 runs, Dilrwan Perera took 5 wickets.
Batting their first innings, Sri Lanka lost Upul Thranga early on. However, Kaushal Silva and Kumar Sangakkara steered the home side to 99 for the loss of 1 wicket at close of play on Day 2.
The third day of the first test is not getting underway at the Galle International Cricket stadium.
