New Zealand Prime Minister to visit Sri Lanka


Prime Minister of New Zealand John Key will undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka today.

The Ministry of External Affairs in a press release stated that Prime Minister Key will be received at the Presidential Secretariat today and accorded a guard of honor.

Later he will hold bilateral discussions with President Maithripala Sirisena.

The New Zealand Prime Minister will also have talks with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe during his visit to the island.

The visit will highlight the strengthening of political and economic ties between the two countries.
