The Judicial medical report discloses the cause of death of the Ambilipitiya youth is excessive bleeding and shock

It was disclosed in Court today that the Ambilipitiya youth died of excessive bleeding from cuts and shock trauma caused during a clash with police at a party held in a private house in Maha Ela.
The post mortem report prepared by Judicial Medical Officer of the Ratnapura hospital T.B. Gunathilake was submitted to Court yesterday.
In the report, it was observed that several cuts were seen on the body of the deceased. The wounds had caused excessive bleeding. The report also stated that shock trauma was an additional cause of death.
Meanwhile Ambilipitiya additional Magistrate Prasanna Fernando ordered the CID to investigate the scene of the crime, and submit a report to Court.
