A SLFP central committee meeting today with president at the chair

A decisive SLFP Central Committee meeting will be held today with President Maitripala Sirisena at the chair.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. today at President’s House.

SLFP general secretary Duminda Dissanayake said that at this meeting decision would be made with regard to future action that should be taken against the group that criticized the party, while holding the SLFP membership.

The general secretary said further that several MPs,  provincial council and local government representatives who criticize the party had been identified.
