Political parties question Why Hirunika has not been arrested.

The 6 members of MP Hirunika Premachandra’s security personnel, who allegedly abducted a man in broad daylight in Dematagoda, have been remanded till January 4th.
The six suspects involved in the abduction were produced before Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage day before yesterday.
Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that MP Premachandra was also questioned in connection to the incident.
The suspects who drove a Defender Jeep belonging to MP Premachandra had abducted a 34 year old resident of Gothatuwa last Monday.
The victim, Amila Priyanga Amarasinghe is employed by a Textile shop in Dematagoda.
The victim disclosed that he was threatened by MP Hirunika Premachandra when he was taken before her at her Kolonnawa office.
He also said that later he was beaten at office.
Police have not arrested MP Premachandra as of yet.
This is not the first instance where Hirunika Premachandra threatened and intimidated individuals.
Hirunika Premachandra was ordered to appear before court in connection to an incident where she had threatened and assaulted a businessman in March 17th 2013 as well.
The owner of a business establishment situated at No. 175 near Kynsey road in Borella was threatened by 4 individuals including Hirunika Premachandra.
The Police arrested Hirunika Premachandra over the incident of barging into a shop and threatening its owner and later released on bail.
Hirunika Premachandra and the other individuals involved in the incident were issued instructions to appear at Court number 2 at the Hultsdorf Court Complex on the 27th of March 2013.
Colombo additional magistrate warned Hirunika Premachandra to appear in court in suitable attire during the hearing of the case filed against Hirunika for threatening and assaulting a businessman.
She had appeared in courts dressed in pants and a top which was inappropriate for court.
