The Weerawansas' Patriotic Deeds: Rs. 10 Million Worth house for Wimal’s acquaintance Nirosha

An investigation by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) has revealed that former Minister Wimal Weerawansa has conferred favors to his relatives during his tenure as Minister.
It has been exposed that Minister Wimal Weerawansa has given four houses out of five houses in Mathethegoda belonging to the Housing Development Authority (HAD) which were built at cost of Rupees 10 million each, to his relatives out of charge.
Authentic sources reveals that he has given a house at Maligawatte Housing Scheme worth more than Rs. 10 million at a lower price to a woman named Nirosha Nanayakkara with whom he was well acquainted.
A higher Official of the Commission has stated that it has been revealed in the investigations that the former Minister Wimal Weerawansa has given another house out of charge to former first lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa’s advisor Milinda Rathnayaka.
