Ordinary level exam ends today


The examination department has requested all students to return home peacefully at the conclusion of the examination.

The examination department said that if students behave in an unruly manner within the examination centre or school premises, the department will take action to withhold examination results of those students.

Similarly the examination department has requested police to make arrests , if student behave in an unruly manner on the high ways after the examination.  

It is noteworthy that the highest number in history participated in this year’s O/L examination that commenced on 8th this month.  

A total of 664,715 candidates including 403444 school candidates and 261271 private candidates sat the exam this year.
