Reports have been made that rays encircling the moon, similar to a rainbow, have been observed over the last few nights.
The observations were made between 7 and 10 pm. Astro-biology researcher and scientist, Keerthi Wickremeratna made a statement that the observations would have been made when atmospheric humidity was high.
Wickremeratna says that the appearance of a colour light encircling the moon is indicative of an upcoming storm.
