One day a week to be allocated in parliament for government and opposition MP’s to directly question PM

The Prime Minister has decided to set apart a day per week for Government and Opposition MPs to voice their concerns.
Reports say the Prime Minister hopes to give an opportunity for MPs to pose questions directly to him.
This will take place every Thursday during a half hour time slot at the beginning of parliament proceedings.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed the Speaker in writing to officially allocate this time.
The Speaker is due to inform MPs to submit their questions to the Prime Minister’s office the questions prior to the meeting.
