Postal services crippled due to workers strike


The Postal services have been crippled island wide due to the trade union action taken by workers on 14 demands since 12am this morning .

Convener of the Postal Service Joint Trade Union Federation Chinthaka Bandara said several post offices have been closed due to the strike.

He said that his organization expects to hand over a letter to the President today requesting that he take swift action to resolve the worker grievances.
