‘WT1190F’ space object is not sufficient to cause any threat

A space object discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey on October 3 temporarily designated ‘WT1190F’ is expected to enter the Earth's atmosphere onNovember 13 and will fall into the Indian Ocean about 100 - 200km off the southern coast of Sri Lanka, Prof. Chandana Jayaratne of the Department of Physics, University of Colombo stated.
Speaking further, he stressed that the mass of ‘WT1190F’ space object is not sufficient to cause any threat to Sri Lanka.
However, Prof. Chandana Jayaratne urged fishermen to be concerned about the incident and not to engage in fishing activities in the area between 11.00 in the morning to 2.00 p.m. on November 13.
