It is revealed that 816 firearms of the Avant Guard vessel were those sold by the army

Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry on Massive Fraud and Corruption has come to know that 816 of the firearms found in the Avant Garde vessel inspected at Galle Harbour were those sold by the army to Raknaalankaa Security Company.
Similarly it has been revealed that 20 firearms which had been in the said vessel are missing.
Similarly the Commission said that suspicion had arisen with regard to 59 firearms recovered from the vessel.
From Wednesday the commision officials investigated the Avant Garde vessel that the Navy apprehended in the sea close to Galle Harbour and later handed over to police for investigation
