Following Sri Lanka's progressive report on compliance with European Union (EU) fishing standards sent to Brussels last month (October), a technical team will arrive in November to review the progress, the Foreign Ministry sources stated yesterday (28).
The European Union (EU) will review the technical team's report before deciding whether or not the fishing export ban should be lifted.
The technical team comprising 4 members will be in Sri Lanka from November 12 to 17.
