A woman from Polpithigama who was harassed by the job agency in Kuwait returns to the island

Y.S.K. Thilaka latha of Track 7, Makulpotha in Polpitigama who had been harassed in a Sri Lankan job agency at Hawali in Kuwait returned to the island today.
Thilaka latha was brought home after Foreign Employment Minister Thalatha Athukorala intervened to settle the matter.
Minister Athukorala told our news team the woman would be handed over to her relatives today.
Thilaka latha, on her arrival at the airport, did not talk to the media as she is under severe depression.
Thilaka latha had gone to Kuwait in March this year.
After she faced lot of harassments at her workplace, she visited her job agency to complain, where she was assaulted.
The incident of assault on Thilakalatha had been recorded.
