Policeman attempts suicide

A policeman attached to the Kurunagala police station has shot himself at the police premises this morning.

The policeman has attempted suicide at about 8:15 this morning at the toilet.

The police media unit stated that the policeman who attempted suicide is currently recieving treatment at the ICU of Kurunagala Teaching hospital.
