401 million saved


The Foreign Employment Bureau has managed to save 401million during the past nine months.

The total expenditure of the Bureau from January to September 2014 was 2180 million. It was reduced to 1779 million this year.

Minister Thalatha Athukorale stated that advertising, business promotion and transport expenditures were thus reduced.

The Minister expressed her satisfaction about being able to rectify the erroneous financial management which the Bureau underwent.
