
Eknaligoda disappearance: CID to take suspects to Girithale Army Camp

The Homagama Magistrate allowed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel investigating into journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda's disappearance to visit the Girithale Army Camp and gather evidence.
The Magistrate also ordered the Military Police to provide security to the CID personnel visiting the Army camp.
Police stated that eleven suspects arrested in connection with the disappearance will be taken to the Girithale Army Camp, where Mr. Eknaligoda is reported to have been held after his alleged abduction, in order to conduct further investigations into the incident.
